Ptec™ IN5500 Self-Cleaning Bench Top Ionizer Protects Your Workstation from Static with a Maintenance Friendly Operation
The Ptec™ IN5500 IN5500 Self-Cleaning Bench Top Ionizer is a small, efficient static elimination device with variable fan speed for protecting electronic components and general static protection. The IN5500 can self-clean which eliminates maintenance costs and equipment downtime and ensures your ionizer has optimal static eliminating performance.
- Remove Static Charges Quickly and Efficiently
- Self-Cleaning System Makes Service and Maintenance a Breeze
- Perfect for Single Station Table Top, Bench or Desk Use
- Small Footprint - Does Not Take Up Space
IN5500 Self-Cleaning Bench Top Ionizer uese AC corona technology, to make the air more conductive, Ptec™ ionizers produce a balanced stream of positive and negative air ions that never need calibration. These devices are used in many industries and manufacturing applications where static electricity is a problem.
Maintenance Friendly Ionizer
The IN5500 requires minimal service and maintenance and was designed to make it as simple as possible. The ionizer can self clean the emitter points with internal spinning brushes. Schedule the cleaning after a pre-determined amount of running time (from 0-999hours). Cleaning can also be initiated with a button on the front of the ionizer. These features eliminate maintenance costs and equipment downtime and ensures your ionizer has optimal static eliminating performance
A specialized piezoelectric high voltage transformer makes IN5500 Self-Cleaning Bench Top Ionizer among the most reliable ionizers manufactured. Small, lightweight and stable, Ptec™ products are designed to remain in balance and to alarm when the HV output affects performance. The model IN5110 benchtop static eliminator produces a 68KHz AC output of approximately 2200V and a continuous stream of balanced air ions. Ionizers that use Ptec™ technology do not require calibration and only minimal maintenance.
Verification and Calibration:
The IN5500 ionizer comes factory calibrated and with a calibration certificate. Ionizer performance can be tested and verified with a charge plate monitor. Important tests to perform are positive and negative decay times and ion balance. It is recommended to test ionizer performance at least 1 per year.
