The ComfortDOME anti-fatigue ESD mat is a range of individual mats and modular flooring that offers a unique combination of proven ergonomic and heath benefits PLUS ESD protection. Available in single work area mats or in interlocking sections for long assembly lines.  The  FM53X4EP interlocking end piece is used in conjunction with the FM53X4IC interlocking centerpiece create ESD floor runners.

ComfortDOMES
Evenly spaced ComfortDOMES on the conductive surface of the mat provides superior anti-fatigue relief because ComfortDomes get softer as compressed, not harder like products made with foam. ComfortDOMES recover/rebound more rapidly than most foam resulting in an energizing responsiveness not found in other mats.  ComfortDOMES function like a spring to return energy. The unique “air pocket” structure becomes softer as compressed. ComfortDOMES rebound instantly as weight is shifted.

Specification & Installation
Transforming Technologies guarantees that our ComfortDOME anti-fatigue ESD mat operate in the ideal conductive range - with surface resistance between two points (RTT) of 1.0 x 10^3 - 1.0 x 10^5 ohms. ComfortDOME Mats drain static charges efficiently and will act as part of the path-to-ground for an operator wearing ESD footwear. ComfortDOME matting should be installed and properly grounded to an approved and tested ground point. The mats do not require grounding when placed on an ESD floor that measures within the user’s specified limits. This mat can also work on a static dissipative floor without grounding. Proper cleaning and maintenance as well as resistance measurements must be undertaken regularly to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the ComfortDOME conductive surface.
